GreaseClaw is a browser extension. Use either method below to get the latest version. The easiest way to update is through the Chrome Web Store:
  1. Open the Chrome Web Store and search for GreaseClaw, or open the GreaseClaw listing if you already have it bookmarked.
  2. If GreaseClaw is already installed, Chrome usually updates extensions automatically. You can also open chrome://extensions, enable Developer mode, and click Update to force a refresh.
  3. If GreaseClaw is not installed yet, click Add to Chrome to install the latest version.
After the store update finishes, reload any open tabs where you use GreaseClaw.

Method 2: GitHub Releases (manual load)

If you prefer a direct download, or the store build is not available yet:
  1. Open GitHub Releases and download the latest GreaseClaw extension package (zip or release asset).
  2. Extract the archive to a local folder.
  3. Open chrome://extensions/ in your browser.
  4. Turn on Developer mode (top right).
  5. Click Load unpacked and select the extracted extension folder.
  6. If an older unpacked build is already loaded, remove it first or use the extension card’s Reload button after replacing the files.
Your settings are usually preserved when you update in place. If something looks wrong after updating, try reloading the extension or restarting the browser.
