Welcome to GreaseClaw. Get set up in three steps.

1. Install from the Chrome Web Store

  1. Open the Chrome Web Store and search for GreaseClaw.
  2. Click Add to Chrome to install the extension.
  3. Pin GreaseClaw from the extensions menu so it is easy to open.
If you prefer a direct download, get a release from GitHub Releases and load it manually. See Update GreaseClaw for details.

2. Sign in with Google

Sign in with your Google account to unlock the daily free built-in model quota.
  1. Open GreaseClaw.
  2. Choose Sign in with Google (or open Settings and sign in there).
  3. Complete Google sign-in and return to GreaseClaw.
After you sign in, free built-in models are available for chat and browser automation without adding an API key or payment method. You can still bring your own LLM later if you want more capacity.

3. Ask questions, run tasks, do anything

Open any webpage and start using GreaseClaw:
  • Ask questions about the page — summarize, extract data, translate, explain.
  • Run tasks — describe what you want done and let GreaseClaw click, type, and navigate for you.
  • Do whatever you need — research, fill forms, multi-step workflows, or quick one-off help.
That is it. Install, sign in, and use it.
